Original Visuals:

These two designs were my original but I changed them because I thought that they didn't fit the style of the character. I also changed it because i got feedback saying it was too depressing and therefore people wouldn't want to play it.

Final Visuals:

In my opinion, i prefer my new visuals more. The background design suits the player character in its cartoon style and simplified colour choices.

in the top left of the screen is a score. The further the player runs the higher the score becomes.the player taps on the top part of the screen to make the character jump tap the bottom of the screen to make the character slide.

The point of my game is for the player to get the highest score possible before they get killed by an obstacle.

In the top left of the screen in this second image a small icon is shown this means that the player has a power up they can activate once any time they want. the player can earn these by either buying them with in game currency or collecting them when they appear on screen by making their character run through it.

The longer distance the character runs the more scenery changes they get. Every few thousand metres, the scenery changes colour this makes the game more interesting and showing the player they are making progress without them having to check the score.

If a player has played well, they can upload there score onto a leader board that shows how other players have played (ranging from highest score of all time to the highest score of the week)
This allows the player to keep interactive within the games community and makes them feel extra rewarded for their play through

My character animation (With time would possibly be turned from pixel art to a smoothed edged character, like in the image above)
it would be animated better so it runs smoother and more realistic
